Gel palette and brushes review

I ordered the 'Moonlight Sonata' gel palette and a set of detail brushes from Misspinknail. The ordering process was straightforward on their website, very easy to navigate. Decent order, minor shipping delay

I bought some clear gel and an aurora powder from Misspinknail. The products themselves are good quality, the clear gel self-leveled nicely and the aurora powder gave a beautiful effect. My only real gripe was the shipping; it took 8 days to arrive, which was a little longer than I expected based on their general info. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay, though. Good products, just wish shipping was a touch faster.

Yeah, I remember seeing something about that. I think their FAQ says they try to be HEMA-free where possible for their gels. Might vary by product line tho?

I'm pretty sure most of their main gel lines are HEMA-free now, especially the newer ones. I haven't had any issues with reactions like I used to with other brands. Definitely worth checking the specific product page though if you're super sensitive.

Thinking of trying out the 3D gels, but not sure if I should just go with Misspinknail or try Born Pretty. Anyone used both and have a preference for sculpting?

Oh, Misspinknail for sure! Their 3D gels are way more workable and hold shape better than Born Pretty's, in my experience. BP always felt a bit too soft.

I've only used Misspinknail's 3D gel but it's really good! Super easy to sculpt with and cures perfectly. I heard Born Pretty can be a bit sticky, but that's just what I've heard.

Most online stores don't let you stack coupons, and Misspinknail is usually like that too. I think their policy is pretty clear about not combining promos. You usually have to choose between a percentage off code or the bundle pricing.

It really depends. My last order took like 10 days to get to Florida, but that was during a sale. I'd say you're probably okay for California if you order soon, but wouldn't wait until the last minute.

They're real. Their products are actually really good quality for the price, especially the painting gels. I think they're based out of somewhere in Asia, but they ship fast and the stuff is good.
